Medical Travel Is Here To Stay

I'm not someone who supports the outsourcing of most things in other countries. Not that I am against other countries that share the wealth, so to speak. My reasons are twofold.

One of them, I see many jobs performed in the United States going to other places and see how it hurt our economy. U.S. companies to create products elsewhere and then come back here to sell for the same money as before, but higher profits because they can pay foreign workers less.

Two, because the work was not better than what Americans can do, and sometimes even more flawed and does not completely follow the rules. Two things can point to Dell customer service and medical billing company that had threatened to post personal records of U.S. citizens in a dispute with American companies that were contracted to handle billing. May we have the HIPAA privacy laws in the United States, but no U.S. government could do to help the Indian company.

With that said, I have to change their tune when it comes to having medical services in other countries to save money. It's hard to complain against an individual or company decides it makes sense to try to save money on the main procedures of health care for their employees. If the company can only spend $ 20,000 to send one of its employees in India or Mexico for the heart procedure that will cost $ 100,000 in the states at a minimum, and knowing that the medical facilities are of high quality, then that is smart and intelligent move that frankly I do not can go against it.

Last year I was researching an article about Mexico medical trip, and that research has shown that not only can save patients anywhere between 100% and 500% for medical procedures, including elective surgery (laser eye surgery, plastic surgery , etc.), but the full medical package in a resort style hospital / hotels that fully integrated all costs to save even more money.

The same is true for India, where the preponderance of well-trained American doctors have set up a large and specialized medical practices that offer nothing but the best when it comes to medical procedures in question. A cost may be even less of them worked in Mexico, although getting there might cost a little more. However, there are doctors in India, so the concept of waiting for quality medical care is paid is non-existent.

It is important to know about news as well as health care costs keep going up. Not only employers, but some insurance companies are realizing that they need to find ways to keep costs down, because at some point, there must be a cap on the price of insurance premiums.
